Glamis 20th Anniversary

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to all those who’ve contributed towards the success story of Glamis Business School. A special thought goes to Dr Barbara Jamieson who made it all the way from Heriot Watt University Scotland to celebrate with us.

Dr Jamieson is an Associate Professor at Edinburgh Business School. With an extensive career in industry and academia, she brings a wealth of practical and theoretical knowledge to her teaching. Before entering academia she built up more than 15 years’ commercial experience in advertising, marketing research and marketing consultancy. She holds a DBA, an MBA and has an honours degree in Business Organisation.

Barbara is currently Associate Dean, International Development at Edinburgh Business School. Previous leadership positions in the School, include course leader for Marketing and programme leader on the MBA and MSc Marketing programmes. In her current role Barbara supports faculty in the Edinburgh Business School international learning partner network to promote quality in programme delivery. During her visit, she had a working session with our tutors and staff at the Gymkhana Club. Her focus was geared towards the transition to the new 2020 Masters programme.

The 20th anniversary was held on the 19th of October and to commemorate this grand event we gathered students, alumni, tutors and staff on our premises for a cocktail.

Prior to the start of the event, we had speeches from Dr Jamieson, Dr Dan Maraye, Shyam Maraye, Prem Sewpaul, who was also the Master of Ceremony and Jean Luc Camille our alumni Student ambassador. A special thanks goes to all of them.
